We are

Nick & Felix

Our craft starts with the camera: light, movement, emotion.
But filmmaking is more than images – it’s collaboration.

A fast moving creative collective built on trust and shared vision.

Around us is a network of State-of-the-Art photographers, art-directors, creative producers, editors, stylists, and post-artists, allowing us to move seamlessly from pure cinematography to full production when needed. We believe in personal collaboration and tailor-made storytelling. Every film is crafted with care  — no generic shortcuts, no automation.

Up-Front Q&As

Who are we – and what is Ease-Creative?
We’re two DoPs working as a creative collective.
Most of the time, we focus on cinematography – but with our network, we can provide full production when needed.
What kind of projects do you take on?
We focus on film and visual storytelling that feels real — from brand and image films to music videos, short documentaries, and campaigns. What matters most isn’t the format, but the intention. If your story deserves authenticity and visual depth, that’s where we come in.
Do you work with agencies or directly with clients?
Both.
We often collaborate with agencies that value creative partnership, but we also work directly with brands, artists, and founders who prefer a more personal and streamlined process. In either case, we stay close to the people behind the project — that’s where the best stories start.
Why us instead of a full-service agency?
Because we put fair and healthy ways of working back at the centre.
We know there are many great agencies out there. At the same time, parts of the industry still run on unpaid overtime, constant pressure and a subtle culture of fear — where people worry that speaking up about conditions might cost them opportunities. To keep prices low and clients happy, the human cost behind the work often stays invisible.
We don’t want to be part of that system. With us, you know who is doing the work, under which conditions, and how the budget is used. Fair treatment, realistic timelines and respectful collaboration are non-negotiable for us – for you as a client and for everyone on and off set.
How big is your team?
We keep it intentionally small. A lean core allows us to stay flexible, focused, and in control of quality. For larger shoots, we scale with our network of trusted freelancers — camera, light, sound, art — people we know and work with regularly.
How long does a project usually take?
That depends on scope and complexity. Smaller pieces can be ready within a few days, while larger projects might take a few months from concept to delivery. Documentary work takes what it nedds - we don't rush. Quality over quantity.
What’s constant: transparent timelines and open communication throughout the entire process.
What makes Ease-Creative different?
Personal connection.
We’re not an anonymous production house, and we don’t work from templates. Every project gets individual attention — from the first call to final color. We care about nuance, honesty, and images that truly represent you, not a trend. We earn your trust instead of taking it for granted.
Can we be involved in the creative process?
Definitely.
Collaboration is part of our DNA. We involve you early — in concept, tone, and look — and keep feedback loops short. It’s a dialogue, not a handover. That’s how authenticity happens.
What’s the first step to start a project?
Just reach out without any commitment.
We’ll set up a short call or meeting to talk through your goals, creative direction, and budget frame. From there, we outline the concept and timeline — simple, personal, and without pressure.
Do you also handle post-production?
Yes, completely.
Editing, sound design, color grading, and delivery all stay in-house or with our close collaborators. Keeping everything under one roof helps us maintain tone, pacing, and visual coherence from start to finish.
Where are you based?
We’re based in Austria, but we work worldwide. Many of our projects combine on-site production with remote collaboration. Whether it’s Berlin, Zurich, or Tokyo — we bring the same focus and craft wherever the story takes us.
How do you price your work?
Every project is different.
We don’t sell hours — we build value. Budgets are based on creative scope, production needs, and the impact we aim to achieve together. Everything is transparent, discussed upfront, and tailored to your goals.
What’s your view on AI in film production?
We see AI as a tool — not a replacement.
Technology can support creativity, streamline workflows, and keep us at the cutting edge of production. But it can’t replace intuition, empathy, or the human touch that makes a story feel alive. Our values are built on personal connection and individuality. AI helps us stay efficient, not generic.
